Newborn

Newborn photography is specifically aimed at capturing priceless moments of your babies’ first few weeks. I recommend this shoot for anyone with a baby up to 4 weeks of age. That said, I’ve done newborn sessions with older babies in the past and they’ve turned out great too, so it’s never too late to book!

I know I shouldn't say it, but newborn photography is my favourite!  I love meeting parents, especially when you’ve just welcomed your new bundle of joy into to the world. I understand it can seem overwhelming to leave the house when you first have a baby, so try not to worry.  My studio is set up to be a home from home, including comfy sofas for parents and baby essentials. To make things as stress-free as possible, when you book I’ll send you over a guide with some hints and tips and ideas of what to bring on the day. Don't worry if you don't get chance to read it though, you’ll have a wonderful time regardless.

My newborn sessions are all about relaxed vibes, sleepy babies and happy memories.  They are designed so parents can sit back, relax and take in your babies’ first photoshoot, while I work away at creating a beautiful gallery of images for you to treasure.

To get the most out of this unique experience, my newborn photoshoots don't really have a time limit. I work at the pace you and your baby are comfortable with.  The session can last around 2-4 hours……..loads of time for feeding, nappy changes and cuddles. Some parents have been known to sneak in a nap themselves!  This approach ensures the best opportunity for me to capture that perfect selection of photos for you to choose from. Also included in the session are sibling, family and parent photos, if requested.

I appreciate that this session may not suit everyone's needs, so I do have a limited number of shorter mini-shoot sessions available each month.  Mini newborn sessions are designed for those with a smaller budget or that may only require a few photos.

As my sessions are often very popular, I recommend parents contact me to book a provisional date after you’ve had your 20-week scan. as is well known babies never arrive on time, so dates are never set in stone, we can bring the session forward or push it back as needed.  Prebooking just guarantees you will get a space over clients who try to book last minute, all I ask is that you keep me up to date on baby's progress as your session date approaches.  If you have any questions just let me know, and I look forward to meeting you and your newest addition. x
