Children and Family

Older children often only get their school pictures done and not a photo shoot, its such a shame as school photos very rarely give parents a glimpse of their child's personality.  During these sessions I work with the family to find out their child's interests to see if we can incorporate that into the shoot.  Directing older children is a little easier and making sure they are comfortable in front of the camera really helps.  These sessions are also great if you want to include families or siblings in the session, it really encourages shy children to take part if they see their family getting in on the action.
